大体来讲，用哪个基本上都无碍。但是一般带连字符的较多的适用于作定语的形容词。比如说ice-creamsoda冰淇淋苏打,ice-creamcone冰激凌甜筒这样的作定语的话一般加连字符比较合适。
单独作名词的话，加空格的【icecream】用的比较多而正确。不加空格和连字符的icecream不是很规范另外ice-cream做形容词还有乳白色的意思。
